Booking & General Questions
Most bookings are made online using our secure booking system.
Click “Book Your Cruise” on the website homepage or call our tour coordinator if you need suggestions about trip options.
Weekends fill up fast, especially for bachelorette and bachelor parties.
We recommend booking 4 weeks in advance.
Yes — every cruise is 100% private for your group only.
Call our sister company Buffalo Pedal Tours and book a pedal tour.
PRICING & PAYMENT
Pricing depends on the date and time.
Most private cruises start at $399.99 for up to 10 guests on Mondays and Tuesdays, with options to add additional guests.
NO — If it’s 14 days or more, you can hold the day and time with a $99 deposit. The full base payment is required 14 days before your trip.
Refunds are based on our cancellation policy, which appears during checkout.
If severe weather prevents the cruise, we will work with you to reschedule or provide options.
WHAT TO BRING
Yes! Saloon Boat is 100% BYOB (canned drinks only).
No glass or liquor bottles may be brought onboard.
Yes — light snacks, chips, pizza, cupcakes, etc. are welcome. No salads- too messy to clean up.
No — please bring whatever you need:
Cups
Napkins
Ice
Cooler
Bottle openers (for cans only)
Yes! Small decorations are welcome (balloons, banners, photo props).
Please avoid confetti or anything that blows into the water.
ONBOARD EXPERIENCE
Yes there is a restroom on the boat.
Absolutely — we have a Bluetooth sound system.
Connect your phone and play your own playlist.
No — swimming is not allowed for safety and USCG regulations.
Some routes allow for optional stops depending on weather and timing.
Ask your captain at the start of your cruise.
SAFETY & POLICIES
Yes — all cruises are operated by an experienced USCG-licensed captain, and our boats are inspected by the United States Coast Guard each season to ensure the vessesl meets all required safety standards.
Yes — On family trips children are allowed and must be supervised at all times by parents. CALL US FIRST BEFORE BOOKING
We want everyone to have fun, but over-intoxication is not permitted.
If anyone becomes unsafe, the captain will end the cruise early for safety reasons. No refund will be issued.
Life jackets are available and required for children.
Adults are not required to wear them unless instructed during certain conditions.
WEATHER QUESTIONS
Light rain does NOT cancel cruises.
If weather becomes unsafe due to lightning, high winds, or marine advisories, we will reschedule or offer alternative solutions.
No, just like going to a Bill’s game we go out in the cold.
LOCATION & ARRIVAL
Boarding takes place at: Erie Basin Marina,
329 Erie Street, Buffalo, NY
30 minutes before the scheduled tour time. If we need to leave late due to members of your group not being ready to board, your time is NOT extended.
Yes — plenty of parking is available near the marina restroom. Plan to use their restroom before heading to the boat.
